Adebanji does a demo for Epsom & Ewell Art Group.

Stages of The Demo in Acrylic and Adebanji with the final piece.

Adebanji came to Epsom and Ewell Art Group last night and proved a great hit with our members. Full of enthusiasm he managed to complete in the 2 hours he was there, a fantastic acrylic Urban Landscape of the street outside of Peter Jones in Chelsea, all the while giving hints and tips to our members. Even during our break when he was surrounded by members, Adebanji continued to work on the painting while answering questions; A sight I have not seen before. Many members congratulated me at the end of the evening on having booked Adebanji, saying that in the years they had been members, some up to 15 years, he was the best demonstrator to date and others said they had learned more from him in the 2 hours than they had learnt in numerous demos put together!!!

Please come back soon.

“The students and Art department had all an awesome day. Adebanji was amazingly talented, enthusiastic and really inspired the students. They got so much from the day, most students stayed and worked through lunch  by their own choice and Adebanji actually had to physically go round the room and take the paint brushes out of their hands as they would not pack up at the end of the day. They loved it!!!”  Mrs Ginette Baker (Head of Art)

Adebanji Alade has 4 paintings in the ROYAL INSTITUTE OF OIL PAINTERS ANNUAL EXHIBITION

Alade-Adebanji-Creative-Progression
Creative Progression, 18″ x 14″, Oil on Board, 2017, £1,950.- These days the inspiration flows and there’s creative progression, everything works, I’m unstoppable and I love everything that is happening in the studio, I don’t want to leave, it’s ecstasy, I’m in the zone and this is when and where the masterpieces are born!

Creative Depression (SELFIE), Oil on Board, 14″ x 18″, 2017, £1,950.- These days the depression can be really bad, there’s a creative block and nothing works in the studio, there’s self doubt, a lack of confidence and a mid-life creative crisis. At times like this I wonder why I’m an artist and why I paint, it’s a deadly zone.

My Sketchbook Unfinished from July 2016 to July 2017

This sketchbook is not finished but I have used it from July 2016 to July 2017. I sketch people and places but mostly people. I’m simply fascinated about people’s faces, the beauty, texture, emotions, mood, colour, effect of light and just people from different parts of the world and people of different age ranges. I was born to sketch! That’s why I call myself the ADDICTIVE SKETCHER. If you’ve enjoyed it, please like, share and comment below. The Sketchbook is the life blood of an artist. FINALLY- IF YOU REALLY NEED ONE TO ONE COACHING TO IMPROVE YOUR SKETCHING, DRAWING OR PAINTING- PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I’LL LET YOU KNOW MY PACKAGES AND PRICES. ADEBANJI PRESENTS OTHER ARTISTS WORK ON THE ONE SHOW on BBC One

Adebanji presents the work of Nikki Douthwaite who produces stunning portraits made with tiny dots. She makes a lovely piece to celebrate Dot Cotton’s (June Brown) 90th Birthday this year!

Adebanji presents an interesting short film on an artist who did great posters but didn’t have much exposure until his grandson (Goff Gleadle) discovers his work and teams up with a great digital artist (Kendal James) to bring these works to life……

This was shown on BBC One, I was featured as the Presenter on a short 4 min film on the One Show, with people finder Cat Whiteaway and Iris Simmons, to unravel something interesting!
